Big Impact Rollout For a Big Brand Rebrand
Fun Headlines and Layout Designs Bring a Brand Redesign Down to the Dealer Level
You might have heard of Mack Trucks before. (It is sort of a big deal in the North American trucking industry.) After a significant refocus and brand overhaul (not done by me), they wanted to include their updated look and feel at the rapidly approaching yearly dealer event.
I was brought in by MOSAIX, an excellent event management company in Asheville, NC, which was running all the signups etc.
My task was to take the extensive branding guidelines and present new headlines and graphics for scattering around the conference location as well as a general look and feel for promotional items within the event.
I designed the Highway Sign event logo using the Mack Weathering guidelines and wrote the taglines in partnership with MOSAIX staff for Mack’s approval.
A particularly enjoyable part of the project was picking a crop area of the provided photography due to the constraints of the (very) vertical designs required by the signage dimensions and then creating taut taglines for each.
It was an honor to do work for such a venerable brand and a great team at MOSAIX. Overall, the project was an enjoyable stretch of multidisciplinary creative muscles…perfect for a generalist
